Precipitated for thousands years, Chinese folklore symbolizes the profound traditional culture of China. The Chinese knots, dragon totems, red garb... On this day, I-EP students and teachers gathered together dressed in various costumes with Chinese New Year elements to welcome the arrival of the Chinese New Year.

千年沉淀，华夏民俗延续了祖国深厚的传统文化，中国结、龙图腾、红外套...在这一天，I-EP师生们穿着各式各样带有中国新年元素的服装齐聚一堂，共同迎接新年的到来。

Walking through the "market", which consisted of different booths with Chinese new year elements, children are able to taste the delicious cuisines from all over the world and try the traditional historical skills again and again. Everyone was all excited about the strong atmosphere of Chinese new year and you can see the smiling faces everywhere.

穿红装，赏民俗，尝美食，体验传统习俗，感受文化魅力。天南海北的美食聚集在这里，大家尝了又尝；历史悠久的技艺展现在这里，大家试了又试。浓浓的年味儿扑面而来，孩子们尽情穿梭在集市之中，所见之处皆是一张张笑逐颜开的脸庞。

After a semester of effort, every student has become a better self. As the representatives of outstanding students, Andrew Zhang from G9 and Tim Chen from G6 came to the stage to share their unique learning experiences and methods, encouraging us to continue to work hard and strive towards our goals in the new year.

经过一学期的努力学习，每一个同学都成长为了更好的自己。作为优秀学生代表，来自九年级的张延一同学与来自六年级的陈翰霆同学先后上台发言，为大家分享自己独有的学习经验与方法。他们鼓励同学们在新的一年里，也要继续努力，奋斗拼搏，朝着目标奋发向上。

The Global Silver award in the British Physics Olympiad, The first prize of the Australian Mathematics Assessment; The runner up of the Zongheng Cup International School Mandrain Debate Tournament; The first prize of the Guangzhou Secondary School Biological Science & Technology Innovation Education Program Selection... In this term, students have gained a lot and have a full harvest. Congratulations to all of you. Step by step, we are becoming the risk takers, thinkers, communicators and inquirers who are knowledgeable, open-minded, balanced, caring, principled and reflective. Our future will have unlimited possibilities.

BPhO英国物理奥林匹克竞赛全球银奖；AMC澳大利亚数学测评全国一等奖；纵横杯国际学校中文辩论赛全国亚军；广州市中学生物科技创新教育项目评选一等奖，在这个学期里，同学们收获颇丰，满载而归。祝贺大家，我们正在一步一步地成为勇于尝试、知识渊博、胸襟开阔、积极探究、全面发展、勤于思考、善于交流、懂得关爱、坚持原则、及时反思的IB学习者，我们的未来将有无限可能。

All of these achievements could not be achieved without the patience of the teachers, the hard work of the students and the support of our parents. With the joy of harvest, Mr. Liu, the head of I-EP, came to the stage to make a summary of the semester, expressing his gratitude to all and his hope for the future. 一切的捷报和战绩，离不开老师们的耐心教育，同学们的勤学苦练与家长们的鼎力支持。在一片丰收的喜悦中，I-EP项目负责人刘伟先生上台作学期总结，表达对各方的感谢以及对未来的希冀。旧岁已展千重锦，新年再进百尺竿，让我们携手并肩，共赴山河长远，齐展日月辉煌。

In I-EP, we have five societies featuring both traditional culture and international elements. These are not only the identity symbols of I-EP, but also the cultural carriers of the school for breaking down grade barriers and bringing the younger and older students together.

In order to encourage more positive behaviors of students, I-EP holds a House competition every semester. We will count the accumulated points of each house at the end of the semester, and judge the semester champion according to the points. Congratulations to Dragon House for winning the champion of this semester!

在I-EP，我们还有代表传统文化又兼具国际特色的五社，这不仅仅是I-EP的身份符号，也是打破年级壁垒，实现长幼相携的校园文化载体。

为激励学生更多积极正面的行为，创新融合部（I-EP）每一学期都实行社制竞赛，在期末统计各社的累计积分，根据积分评出冠军。恭喜仁义之龙社获得本学期的冠军！

Afterwards, Leo and Sima, the House Captain of the Dragon House, went to the stage to give us the speeches and boost the morale as the representatives of Dragon House members. The semester championship is not easy to win, and it is the result of the efforts of all the members of the House. In the next semester, we will continue to work hard and create the glory again.

随后，仁义之龙社社长黄熙辰同学与Sima同学作为龙社代表上台发表感言，并鼓舞士气。冠军得来不易，它凝聚了所有社员的努力。挑战自我，行则将至，在以后的日子里，大家也将会继续努力，再创辉煌。

At the closing ceremony, G7 students brought us a majestic Bamboo Lion Dance performance. With the powerful drum beats and dynamic dance steps, they gave us a blessing and interpreted the essence of traditional Chinese culture.

红梅开，落雪来，摇杆舞狮迎新年。在散学典礼上，七年级的同学们带来了霸气十足的竹竿舞狮表演。他们踩着铿锵有力的鼓点、踏着威风灵动的舞步，为我们祈福纳吉，诠释了中华传统文化的精髓。

How will the sparks collide when the ladies in the Grand View Garden meet the decisive warriors on the battlefield? G9 students vividly performed the textbook drama "When The Dream of Red Mansion meets the Romance of the Three Kingdoms", which have given people a deeper understanding of these two famous masterpieces.

红楼梦一场，多少荒唐言，三国鼎立分，计谋深算出。当大观园里的佳人，遇到战场上杀伐果断的将军，又会碰撞出怎么样的火花呢？九年级学生生动表演了课本剧《当红楼梦遇上三国演义》，让大家对两大名著有了更深的了解。

Ms. Rao played and sang the song "Sheng Sheng Man". Her singing voice was as smooth as the wind, which seemed to take us back to the side of the canal of a thousand years ago.

一曲悠扬传承千年，一曲清音梦回江南。饶老师边奏边唱《声声慢》，仿佛让我们回到了千年前的运河旁，千回百转，细腻如风。

Children from G2 gave a dance performance "First day of new year" to us. The Chinese New Year is approaching, with the sound of firecrackers, we put up the peach notes as well as embrace the beautiful day together.

爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。二年级的孩子们一起带来了舞蹈表演《元日》。新年的脚步慢慢走来了，爆竹声响，桃符上贴，一起迎接和煦暖阳。

The great passionate electronic organ band performance brought by the electronic organ band seemed like the hope of the new year blossoming into fire. At the beginning of the music, the sound of the instrument was bright and rhythmic, and the joyful atmosphere instantly lit up the scene.

由电钢琴乐队带来的电钢琴表演激情四射，就像是新年的希望绽放出热烈的花火。音乐乍起时，琴声清脆，节奏感十足，欢乐的气氛瞬间点燃全场。

With the joyful and peaceful atmosphere, our Chinese teachers sang the song "Love each other". We appreciate the contribution of every teacher, the unremitting support of every parent, and the hard work of every student. Because of you, our big family, I-EP, is getting better and better.
